In our 50th anniversary year last year, we took stock of ISACA as an organization—what was going well and what we could do better as we strive to be a modern association dedicated to providing world-class learning, membership and enterprise services to our growing community. We’ve transformed how we operate as an organization, and we continue to innovate to remain relevant, valuable and trusted with members like you, and to the next generations of our professions. Now we are pleased to tell you about exciting changes at the board level as well.

As part of a multi-year effort to improve our board governance and impact, ISACA has recruited expertise to serve on our board and help us reach new heights. We will always maintain and recruit incredible member leaders on the board as well, and the 2020-2021 slate is a great example of this commitment. This mix of ISACA Global and chapter leadership expertise plus the leadership and industry expertise of our new Board Directors will bring valuable and diverse perspectives that will make us better and benefit ISACA. The diversity of the incoming board—from gender and geography to professional experience—will help ensure our success well into our exciting future.

Today, we are very excited to share with you our 2020-2021 Board of Directors slate. The board will be installed (via a virtual Annual General Meeting given the unique circumstances we are facing) on 10 June. We’ll let you know soon about how to view that meeting.

Between now and then, you’ll be introduced to our new board members and those continuing on for another term via video, social media, blog posts, the ISACA Journal and more. In today’s blog post, you’ll find an introduction of our new Chair and our four new board members. We encourage you to get to know these leaders. We hope you will be as impressed as we are by the level of passion all of our board members have for serving you and helping to advance you and your enterprises in new and exciting ways.

Our new Board Chair will be Tracey Dedrick, a senior executive experienced in risk, compliance, treasury and investor relations. Tracey is among ISACA’s current Directors, and she previously was EVP and Head of Enterprise Risk Management for Santander Holdings US, where she was responsible for enterprise, operational and market risk for the Americas.
