Hello everyone,

I want to know how this code operates fine.






Documentation from intellij Idea :
sorted :Returns a stream consisting of the elements of this stream, sorted according to natural order.
If the elements of this stream are not Comparable, a java. lang. ClassCastException may be thrown when the terminal operation is executed

Well, it says ClassCastException may be thrown; it doesn't say it will be thrown.  In this case, there is only one element in the list, so there's nothing to sort, and no need for sorted() to ever try to treat the elements as Comparable in order to sort them.  So no exception.  If you put a second Book in the list, then an exception will be thrown, because sorted() will need to try to compare the two objects to decide if they're in order or not.
