Chapter 15, page 894 the first line states "Assuming at least one row is updated, we check exhibits and make sure none of the rows contain an invalid num_acres value.". But if we look at the code on page 893 the else block will only run when both rows are updated.
if(! elephantRowsUpdated || ! zebraRowsUpdated): if only one value is true the if statement will return true, so both rows must be updated.
