There are starter workflows that you can pick from to get up and running quickly. Just click on the "Actions" tab in your repository and pick from the CI/CD category of starter workflows. There are also some examples in the last chapter of converting from popular CI/CD applications like
Jenkins, Travis CI, Azure DevOps and more. So it's very easy to get going in my opinion.
