I work in Clojure (and have done for over a decade now) so I'm wondering whether the book would be useful to me, given that you seem to be focused on static type systems and it looks like monads play a large role too?

Indeed, static type systems (and monads) play a big role in my book. But my base thesis is that the principles of Software Design don't differ that much depending on the paradigm or language. There are universal ideas finely portable between ecosystems. In this sense, some parts of my books can be applied to Clojure, especially those ones about Domain-Specific Languages and layering. But the most of the book will teach the reader to use advances of type systems similarly to what OOP in statically typed languages does.
