Yes and no. We're less concerned in the book with
provisioning Kubernetes clusters, and more concerned with what you
do with them once you have them. Our recommendation is to use a managed service (such as Google Kubernetes Engine or Elastic Kubernetes Service) wherever possible, and of course Terraform providers are available to provision those, and
you should definitely use them if Terraform is in your ecosystem. If a managed service isn't an option for whatever reason, we look at some of the dedicated tools for automated provisioning of Kubernetes on cloud services, such as
kops.
In general, everything in the book is based around an infrastructure-as-code view of cloud operations, including Terraform, and there are some ready-to-use Terraform code examples in our GitHub repo:
