I have created this thread for people to request items for inclusion.
It helps if you can include a 16x16 pixel GIF or PNG image. Transparencies are OK, animations are not

Vijitha Kumara already requested this (and provided some sample icons), so this is in the hopper.

I've deleted your other topic since it was effectively the same as your request here.

I don't want to appear impatient, I'm curious about the process of how bumper stickers are accepted and added to the pool. Is it like a periodic event, when they get added along with other improvements to the forum?

I can tell you exactly: we don't have one.
I chose the initial ones more or less by whim and added a few based on input from other staff.
To my knowledge it has not been updated since then but I can't be sure.

If nothing happens I'll gather the requested items, throw them at the staff to see if there are objections and then assemble them for addition.
It isn't a difficult process (just the image and a DB update) but it should be done during a site update and not something I have direct access to.

Thanks for adding Monad bumper sticker but I have one comment:
AFAIK, it is Haskell logo not Monad's, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I have one request, but not an icon request Could the bumper stickers be sorted by name, to make it easier to find them ?

That's crazy talk.
I have them arranged into groups (eg browser, languages, os) and then by name. Changing to name wouldn't be hard.
Do it yourself :P

Seriously though, I was looking at usability solutions when I was developing it but didn't come to a final decision.
If you would prefer alphabetical and feel like making the change, I have no objections.

Here is a 128X128 icon of Linux Mint :

Here is the requested 16X16 icon of Linux Mint (it's a bit small) :

Linux Mint is the most popular distribution of GNU/Linux (*according to http://distrowatch.com/dwres.php?resource=popularity) and as such, I feel it should be added to the available Bumper Sticker list.

Enjoy,
John Price

Hey guys

I was wondering if we could include a Git bumper sticker. If you guys want, I can re-size it.

Great! Let's go wild... how about same as C++, but without the ++? Never created any GIFs/icons before, but will have a go if necessary.

I like it, as long as there aren't going to be any copyright problems. The two tones of blue work particularly nicely, and that looks like something which will scale to 16×16 easily.
