I see we get notified by email, but I've done some searches and saw mention of something that sounds like desktop notifications in development (a few years ago).
Is there something we have to do to turn that on? Or maybe that feature was never finished?
To clarify in case this suggestion/question is confusing: I'm talking about that browser feature where a website requests desktop notifications permissions (similar to location permissions) and the user has to allow or disallow. Allowing permissions triggers the OS to pop up a message at the desktop level, outside of the browser, when a notification is sent. I think this only works when you're logged into the site and I guess you have the site open on at least one tab. But it's pretty nice when used appropriately.
