Thanks, Jeanne! I'm honored to be on Code Ranch, and I'm looking forward to answering questions about Teach Your Kids to Code.
I began coding with my sons when they were 2 & 4 (now 5 & 7) - I teach in Java, Python, C++, Objective-C, and PHP/MySQL/JavaScript/etc. at the University of North Georgia. Python was just the easiest choice for showing my sons short programs that they could modify and understand enough to do cool things, first with Turtle graphics, then with more advanced code.
I'm glad to take questions on Python, working with kids (I also teach coding, 3D printing and robotics to local K-12 students), or on my upcoming Udemy course on Python.

Hi Bryson!!!

Teaching Kids to Code is a field I just ventured into. I do it along side active coding.
I have always believed the earlier kids are introduced to coding, the stronger the chances are that they would choose a career in software development.
This is sure gonna be an interesting journey with you.
Welcome sir!

Thank you, Frits, I'm honored! Let me know what you and your son think of the book, and I'll be posting information about my upcoming Udemy course at http://teachyourkidstocode.com within the next 2 weeks, in case either of you might like video help.
A huge thank you to all the Ranch crew - it's been great talking with everyone this week. Let me know if I can ever be of help.
Happy coding!
Bryson
